I talked to Gary a little while ago and he said there were 20 teams already signed up.  Supposedly there were a couple teams in the process of also getting signed up.  More teams means higher jack-pot.

Here's the only copy of the rules that I understand from Gary to be the latest and greatest.

There is a $50 jackpot for Barr hogs.  But barrs will not be counted in the stringer.
