I pay about 10$ for the stainless and nylon leads from tejas outdoors. It would cost me more to buy the snaps, rings, S clamps, Chain, nylon, and to sew it some how. They buy in big bulk so they make money from it. But they make about 30 a day lol.

I do like making some out of big rope. Loop the end and snap on the other end. Mabe a 2" ring on the loop end to shoulder snap it for carrying through the woods
