When used properly how they were intended, you do not damage the dog's teeth when using a break stick. Trust me, the folks many many moons ago who created the break stick did not want their dog's teeth damaged I'm sure. I've used one plenty of times and never damaged a dog's teeth. You'd really have to be shanking the thing to cause damage.....
