Removed the thermostat. Took it around the loop here in crockett stopped by oreillys to get the rad then back to the house and it was at about 240. Installed the new rad took around the loop stayed about 160 till I pulled onto my road then it got to about 230-240 pretty quick. It doesn't have a fan cowling but I've had the truck since November and ain't effected it none guess ill put the thermostat back tomorrow and see if that helps any. I just always heard it runs cooler that way
