It is my understanding that the liquid in the tire sealant is only there to carry and distribute the fibers that actually do the sealing.
I believe the green slime uses cotton fibers. Once there is a leak in the tire, the slime starts to seep out of the hole, and thr fibers begin to create a micro "log jam" which ultimately seals the leak.
There are other brands of slime that use a non cotton fiber, as they claim the cotton fibers break down over time.
I bet the little balls you are seeing are balls of cotton fiber from the slime and not your tires
