Gettin started!!

Started 24 years ago with a Yeller Cur and firmly plan on ending it with a Yeller cur.

Began hunting with friends and their fathers and grandfathers in the river bottoms of East Texas in the 80's. Bout the only place to find hogs then. Never heard of catching hogs with pits until I was around 17. Everything was found, bayed and caught with cur dogs. Sad to say....but it was a hellu lot more fun back then. Them ole lopp eared rooter hogs would bay easily and stay bayed until you got there and worked em as long as wanted. Very few folks were into hog hunting and the ones that were.......had credibility to hunt wherever they liked vs all the drama of today.

Never heard of a man shooting any dogs around here......hell they would bring em back to you after being lost for weeks due to know tracking systems.

Still a young man........but feel I was lucky enough to experience the tail end of the era that was considered .....The Good Ole Days of Hog Hunting.
