Driving down the road in there after the first couple days you will see more dead dogs and more dogs layed out on tail gates than you ever will at one time !! Fun hunt though and you get to catch a lot of good hogs !!!!!!!

No one likes getting there dogs cut down.  However, if you are hunting for sows or boars with no teeth, coon hunting may be more fun for you.  I would rather catch a 225# boar with 3 1/2" machetes, than 30 sows.  JMO!!!!!!  I'm in it to see good dog work, but eventually they have to be tested.  I strive to produce blueticks with great tracking ability, cold nose,  a stong prey drive, great confirmation, looks to kill, and grit like no other.  So far, I'm acomplishing this through basing my kennel off of great foundation bloodlines.  I have had no complaints to this point, and am extremely happy thus far.  Hopefully, this week produces plenty of photo-ops.
