So your saying if you have a dog that hunts but not to your standards it's a cull? I've had dogs in the past that won't hunt but would hunt off the hood and since I don't hunt like that very often I sold him. I've heard from the man and he says that he made
a half way decent dog. But there lies the problem, a half way decent dog is not what most people consider a hog dog. Good dogs do get sold but their never cheap. There was a post in the dog trade today wanting a good dog but they said they would not pay over $300. There's alot of people who will sell a junky dog for $2000 but I don't know anybody who will sell a good dog for $300.
I'm talking to that guy right now got a young dog doing real good just not what i want necessarily right now. I wouldn't take the the cash only but will try to work something out if he will hunt him. May take some trading to get it done but there are good people out there selling dogs that just don't fit them
