A lot of the telemetry systems have interference when you are at close distances such as 50' (including Quick Track).  Things like power lines can also interfere.  I have to turn off some collars when using my Quick Track because different collars interfer with the receiver.  I would not worry about the interference at 50'.  I assume that you dont need to track the dog at 50'.
