my only advise is to pair the two up. Such as traits you like and desire in dog. If both have similar traits and if both have what you like in a dog then you have a pretty good chance of producing what you want. You got to watch those bad traits too. Shyness, timidness, bad feet , weak mouth, weak nose are some examples I watch for. No guarantee you'll get world beaters, but it's a start. You'll never know what you'll have until you make the cross.
