If you want the best over the calf boots that money can buy, order some Russells.  They are by far the best boot I've ever worn or seen.  They ain't cheap, but they can be rebuilt & they'll last.  They're hand-made to your own dimensions.  Russell Moccasins.  They're bad bad bad to the bone.  You can get leather, or the goretex style snake boots.  If you can imagine a configuration, they'll build em.
