I'd say if the dogs were GIVEN to someone outright, for free, it'd be pretty darn lame/low of that person to place the dogs up for sale, especially without first offering the dogs back to their original owners. BUT, if this person indeed PAID for the dogs, then bottom line is that he's free to do anything he pleases with them ethically. Sounds like this person paid for them, so I just think there was a lot of misunderstanding perhaps in this thread.
