Okay first question what do you mean pl ;)an a hunt when your strike dog finds a pig it dont roll over and lay there it fights ...so you have help dogs to take the hits of stopping it .
No harm in asking ...usually my help dogs stay with my strike dog or close to him but either way before i send my cd in i want to make sure the hog is not going to bolt ..i have had this happen before my help dogs and you have turned the cd loose and the hog breaks and you wind up chaseing dogs pig so i like to let the help dogs get in there and me get closer then turn my cd loose....my help dogs dont catch they just bay and grab nuts or legs till it sits down hope that answered your questions
I honestly don't see the help dogs helping out in this situation at all, I see a busted bay.
My find dog is doing everything he can to keep the hog bayed whether there is zero help dogs or 100 on the ground.
Well you are more than welcome to hunt with me anytime ill show ya how it works
