I don't see why some are referring to short range dogs when talking help dogs...

Range is a style preference... I've seen dogs of all different ranges that find hogs consistently... And I've seen crap from all ranges too...

Like said, a HELP dog is one with no hunt and just goes to the bay to help BAY... Not a RCD, not a lead in bulldog, not a slowed down old strike dog, not a young started dog...  It's just a sorry piece of crap that doesn't bring anything to the table and serves no real purpose...

As I stated a ways back in this thread I agree with you BUT I think that alot of the differences in opinion are due to a variation in what people believe the definition of a help dog is  Wink
