Last summer I had what sounds like the same exreme outbreak you are dealing with now,dogs were literally covered,i could see the sand moving and if I wore white socks around them they would be black with fleas in a second. I did a tonne of research after every other thing failed(permethrin is a joke compared to the problem I was facing) and the top internet searches led me to this product found at tractor supply,not by the pesticides but actually tucked away around by plumbing supplies etc. I sprayed in the afternoon and the very next morning I didn't have a single flea in the kennels or area. Me and the dogs were finally relieved and to this day I haven't had the problem,it will also get rid of all types of ticks and lots of other pests,just need a pump sprayer and I mixed it fairly stout,.
