I was really wanting that Dude cross (3/4 Dude) because of all the culls I was getting...but I also really liked what I had heard on the Dude dog as well as on some of his siblings...and the looks had a lot to do with it as well...
Larry...don't know of any hog dogs from that line but a few things I ask to decide if it is worth the trouble...one of the first questions is if he is a coon dog for trailing/tracking...will he fight and kill a coon is another...how far will he range and is he a fast hunter...this dog will get as deep as needed to tree a coon or a squirrel and he has a very good winding nose...sounds just like the dogs I used to keep...
but I do remember you telling me that your blackie dog that you built your program around was probably not a hog dog line...correct me if I am wrong...
