  yeah they will go after anything anytime  . but having them know that you want to coon hunt at night and NOT mess with a hog. after letting a dog bay a hog in a pen and you turn out at night no way to know just what you are hunting . hell I never broke my dogs from coon or possums , but I don't hunt at night so no real need . the few times I did hunt at night the dogs would tree a coon or two .
