The computer should b able to adjust the shift points n that could b achieved with a performance programmer or it may just bolt up n work just fine. The xmsn out of the 3/4tn was programmed for med-heavy pulling so ur shift points will be set for a different rpm range. Again, it will probably work with no issues other than different rpm range shifts which u would hav to get used to n it may shift a lil harder than the old 1. That 3/4tn xmsn will probably hav a different gearing so u mite get a lil crappier fuel milage.
