Even if the dog was super long range it's always easy to move a little closer to her and you will pick her right back up. We have dogs that are long range and it ain't a problem
I don't believe that's entirely true at least not in my case. I use to be a garmin guy and relied on it 100%. Had some buddies on here say one day it's Gunna fail its not a matter of if but when. They convinced me into a beep beep and I be damn if not that same weekend I started running both one of my collars antennas broke and completely lost the dog and one of my best dogs without the beep beep might not would have found her cause she wasn't back tracking when I lost her
anything can happen. That's those what ifs. The Garmin or beep beep could just blow up in your hands. I was saying if the dog is long range you know where you lost it at and can head in that direction and pick it back up. No tracking system out there is perfect. Tuff skin antennas usually fix that tho. Not trying to make ya mad
