Make sure the female is flagging (tail up and to side) and not tucked tight between her legs.
Also does she stand still on her part and not try and get away from the male or fight off the male.
If she's not ready just wait another day or so. When I see the first few spots of blood on the ground I
count this as day 1. On the 11th day I put them together for a tie. I skip a day and put them together
again. It has always worked for me as long as I waited till 11th day. Any sooner and the female probably
wont be ready.
