Hunting buddy memories

My father was the best hunting partner I ever had!! Taught me 95% about what I know about being in the woods!!!unfortunately he passed away just as I got into hog dogging. I would give anything to be able to take my old man along on a dog hunt. I dont step foot in the woods without thinking of something he has told me. He never bow hunted deer,but always held great respect for anyone to kill a deer with a bow. After my first bow kill years ago, he was the first person I talked to and I will remember that conversation for ever. I can't thank him enough for what he taught me bout the ways of the woods.
