Argument!!!! Catahoula/Leopard Is There A Difference?

here are a couple pics of my American Leopard Cur/hound. Mr. Whitten is right. I think of it like this. Cats are more stock, sight , bay/catch dogs while the leps are track,trail and tree type dogs. There is some neat history on both breeds. Some old time cats would tree. Not sure if the will anymore. To me cats have always been built heavier with a larger blockier head with half cocked ears. While the leps are double coated, drop eared, and not as heavy built. They share the same colors and characteristics. They can have the same defects when crossing merles on merles. Some cold nose, some hot some med. Most chop, but more bawl mouths now a days. I like the bawl mouths.
