My male red is bawl mouth with fair nose slow on track will open some. He is short legged and bodied. He will nip a hog but won't catch. Has found and bayed hogs by himself. He won't run one for hours but if it bays he will stay till help gets there or he hears the wheeler close then he freaking comes out. Doh. He is very skiddish and hard to catch. If u sit in one spot he will hunt out about 300 yards.

My female lady has a sharp chop mouth. Good nose, fast on track and can be wide open or silent u never know. Lately she has gotten more silent on hogs. Trashy as they come but that's getting better. She has a lot of stay in her. She is also rough and will catch 150 or less. If my RCD is with her she catches ear when he does. Her and my RCD are my top dogs in my opinion. They are a good pair and hunt well together. Her main down fall is when she gets tired if not in sign she will come back to wheeler and drag along until she is rested a little or the other dogs get piggy or she hits sign then it's back to work. If u sit still she will hunt out 300 maybe 400 yards.

I have picked both dogs up 4 miles as the crow flies from the drop point when they got on a bad runner. I do not know how many miles back and forth they ran.

Like I said they aren't the best dogs but they are ok and I like the way they hunt for the most part.
