I say bred what you like you the one that has to feed them. All good hog dogs will not be producers and all producers will not be good hog dogs but it is nice when they are both. And if you catch 100 hogs in 100 hunts you are not hunting in the piney woods of south Louisiana!!!

I would bet my pay check you want catch a 100% of the time where I hunt I've never seen it or herd of it around my neck of the woods
