love my garmin. in the piney woods signal starts going in and out at about 3/4 mile. but you can head toward the las place it got signal and by the time you get there it will pick up again. thats without the extended antena. theres no stopping and looking to see if you are still goin the right way. got mine on ebay for 550 shiped with the handheld gps, dc-30 and dc-20
