  check out united blood trackers web site . the old cat might work until it jumps a hog while tracking   lol but they do make good dogs , the majority of folks are using  weinie dogs for trailing and they do an awesome job of it  .   but I think a good hound / cur cross in texas would do  .  I do have some 3/4 hound 1/4 cur pups here at the house I was going to work on blood , but do to my moms health I am not going to have the time .   they are ready to start now @ around 10 months old . if a man wanted to take a pair and work them on blood would be great for me .  [ not selling , for all the haters   lol  ]   just pm me on here for details .

x2 on what halfbreed has...10 months old is a good age...another good choice is mt cur...try a dog that is known for a good trailing nose...
