an old man told me when i was a kid that you have a better chance of someone giving you a good dog than selling you one. 20 yrs later its still true. As much as it takes to make a good dog, nobody wants to sell their good dogs. I know i don't. If i had to stop hunting i would place my dogs with people that i know would hunt them and take care of them.
