Quite and smart is what I want. Mine I guess is semi- open haha, when he is in the box and hears em he may whine alittle or scratch at the door, but when I get him on that lead he is quite and just listens. Cut him loose he seems to look for the best path,hhe hardly ever just barrels into a bay. Im not in favor of an overly excited bulldog, kinda like prize fighters I like the strong silent type, all about business and no bark.
