When we get them flipped we generally get the dogs off right away to keep a dog from getting it's foot bit. If I was alone I would stick it first.
x2...stick him first in the right spot...then grab his back legs and keep him off balance so that you can keep the boar from cutting your dogs, do this until the hog goes down...no hog is worth getting a good dog killed or crippled...
