I spread corn around the outside of my traps and then a pile inside with a "feed line" into the pile. I usually either soak my corn in rank beer for a few days in the garage to get nice and hot (keep the lid on  )  or I usually either strawberry or cherry jello mix with some water in the garage with the lid on for a couple days.  I also leave my door tied up with a trip wire, but I have a constant catch door.
