I think in Alabama anything that is center fire is legal to deer hunt with. Anything rimfire is illegal for deer hunting but I will go back and check reason I think their legal is because I live across the road from a cop and he hunts with the game warden a lot and he uses a 22 250 I will ask him and make sure
