Rabid skunk

According to the state rep and the vet its 12 weeks. The vet said the man with the 8 week pup had to go through the 14 day round of shots because he let it lick on him til it died. Another thing people don't think about is vaccinating their horses. Last year a local rancher here killed a rabid skunk in his barn. He thought he was ok because his dogs were current on vaccs. Well couple months later his 8 horses died from it. I'm hoping everyone reads this and uses our mistakes and misfortunes to protect themselves. These are rare occurrences but once they hit you they can be devastating.
