Seth is right, Plotts are not for everyone, but I used to be a "silent on track man" myself. I ran curs and cur/crosses for years and believed if the dog barked it really hurt my chances. Now , after running Plotts for two years I can assure you it doesn't matter at all. I'm sure there are several on this board that will dispute me on this but ask them how many of them actually have a VERY GOOD sampling of both styles? Not just a couple hunts!!!!! I love the Plotts and I really hate to hear of people not giving them a chance because of some MYTH, that I STRONGLY disagree with. I think that all to often the Plotts get grouped in to the category of the typical Boo-Hooing hound and that couldn't be futher from the truth. The Plotts like Seth and many of the other big game hunters run will flat fly, pull hair, and catch game. Thanks for the pics Seth.
