there is a big chance hunting dogs will be shot during deer season when they are running through a lease...
I have seen 3 different times where house dogs pack up and run deer during the daytime when the owners are off to work...Rottweiler's, labs, Dobermans, spitz,...usually purebreds...these dogs are running to catch otherwise they wouldn't be out there...I wonder how many deer these dogs eat that are not on a chain or in a kennel...
