I've been hunting with silent dogs ever since the first day I went and the older man I hunted with if he had a dog that started barking on track he'd cull it when we got back to truck and I've seen him cull some open mouth dogs that anyone could take and catch hogs with but he hated the barking and I hunted with him so long I hated it to but as the years went by hogs got to running worse I'm talking several hours usually per hog even with dogs that wouldn't make a sound until bayed and if I could still have my way id own 20 silent good hog dogs but I know hogs are still going to run so now I have a plott and one cur dog that barks a little on track and the rest of the dogs don't. But these silent dogs we have, have to run them just as far as these other two dogs so It's getting to where a little barking don't bother me.
