Think woody has a point.
But all depends on the long range dogs independence. If it isn't strong enough....he is gonna start laying back with the heel hounds. If the long ranged dog isn't effected and rolls on out again ...leave the heel hounds on the ground and they might pick up some ideas and get gone as well.
But dang sure wouldn't ruin my good long range dog with shoe warmers. Get em off the ground if it starts effecting the long range dog.
