its the will of the dog to bite hard and not let go that's whats usually called lock jaw. but I have seen with my own eyes a bulldog bite something and want to let go but physically could not with out help.
Bulldogs in hold don't let go of something because they don't WANT to. Not because they have "lock jaw." That lock jaw myth has got to be one of the most BS aggravating myths/terms I have ever heard, and is fuel for the BSL agenda. They do NOT have lock jaw. They have a very powerful bite, yes, but not lock jaw. The will to not let go is better referred to as DETERMINATION, or something along those lines.
