Sounds to me like your buddies had some Dogo's that needed culling. If you have the right line of Dogo there is no need to breed it to a Pit. You are essentially breeding down. Sounds to me like you dont have the right dogo. To many folks breeding them for trading purposes and not for working. On an equal playing field the original line of dogo's IMO is superior to the pit and I have had both and think the world of both breeds.
