Was this the first time he saw a live pig? Some pups fire up on a live pig early, some later. I've got
a 2 yr. old female that didn't fire up on a pig in a pen till she was about 8 mths. old.  About every
3 weeks I showed her a pig in a pen and she showed no interest. One day a switch flipped and it
was on . She turned out to be very gritty. I have a 6 month old pup off of her that shows little
interest but since his mom started late, I'm just being patient and letting him be a pup.
