The cur dogs only sticking a mile is the problem you Anit running them long enough to make them bay ,
The problem you will run in to with RCD is that unless your other dogs catch with him the hog still go an get away if it has any size to it because he Anit gonna be able to stay caught a long time by him self , it's better to have RCD when the other dogs will catch an stay caught with it
Have you thought maybe about huntin one loose dog ??
Sometimes that works better than rough dogs hogs sit down an bay better if you have one good loose dog on them
