TapatalkWe used to hunt off the river as kids by boats. All the big leases that couldn't be hunted bordered this particular river.
Back then we could run feral hogs through the auction ring and maybe get $15 a head on the bigger ones.
In return the big leases were buying up all the feral hogs....stocking their lands. Just so happened ..they didn't take the auction tags out before releasing them.
Sooooooo. We would catch them...cut the tags out........and re sell them back to the same clubs that had already bought them. Haha.....Dang good gig for several years. Paid for my dog box and a bunch of boat gas....
Got to the point we were seeing a hog with several holes from previous tags. Hehe
