Agreed red 79, that's why i said I'll never hunt another competition again. I have all running catch dogs. That's how I catch my hogs. I have 1 bulldog that will rip the snout off of a 150lb hog faster than anyone can make it through the brush to get to him. I timed him the other day, 1 minute and 51 seconds from the first squeal to the last breath. when your hunting thicket, you have to pretty much crawl up to the hog and I just cant crawl faster than 1 minute and 51 seconds through rose hedge. Maybe, the hogs in my area are a little bit different than everywhere else, I have no Idea. I've spent my whole life hunting where I'm at. I've been on hogs that all 8 of my catch dogs couldn't hold. If anyone here has ever caught a free ranging boar hog over 250 lbs with dogs, you know it is a completely different animal.
