I just use 1/4 to 1/2" braided nylon rope a small ring a link or to of chain (for swings) and make my own. I have made single, double, and triple drop leads with no problems. Only have to change out the nylon rope or a snap or two every so often. I have pulled some heavy stuff with these leads as well. I never cared for cable due to the stiffness and feel of them. Plus like mentioned before once they start peeling or breaking always have them sticking you. If you start having problems with the rope just cut it off an retie a new piece.
