Found FDS study on Imidacloprid
http://www.fda.gov/downloads/AnimalVeterinary/Products/ApprovedAnimalDrugProducts/FOIADrugSummaries/UCM051438.pdfLooks like recommended dosage at 10% is 4.5mg/lb
At the 10% Imidacloprid used in study there was 100mg/ml(cc)
If my math is right that's 15mg/cc at 1.5% and 30mg/cc at 3% strength.
Which if recommended dosage is 4.5mg per lb then you would just take, as Rueben pointed out in his example, approximately 3.33 cc's per 10lb dog weight at 1.5% strength or a little more than 1.5cc's per 10lb dog weight at 3% mixture.
That make sense. I have a 95lb dog right now and a 50lb one. Trying to make sure I don't mess something up.
