Not to change the subject at all but I would really like to hear on the main forum about people that hunt horse back and pictures of the dogs used etc. This style of hunting really intrigues me but having a horse and dogs that all work as a team sounds REALLY challenging and how to run a catchdog has me concerned as well. I will start a new thread for it on the main board.
I have only been around one dog that would walk next to you without a lead while dogs were baying and not go until you told her to no matter how close to the bay you were. It was really impressive. I too am in the market for a catchdog so if you know of anything that maybe doesn't quite fit Chris' bill let me know
