Lol. I just aint never bred a bulldog that wouldnt catch. Not saying all of my pups were carchdogs.. but by God they would catch.. he wants nuts and hams.. lol. And will literally stand there and do NOTHING if the pig aint.movin

Has he ever taken a beating by a hog or cut down? I had a dogo gyp that was the same as him. Would not catch an ear but you knew when she was there on a big boar. She even hunted her own up if left on the ground. Never got cut and never received a beating from a hog either. She would circle until she saw a shot at the nuts or ass and it looked funny seeing a 100 pound dog sat on by a hog LOL.

If you think about it though your dog an my gyp did/do "catch" just not what your wanting or expecting, but have their uses. Now standing there not doing anything if the hogs not moving is another thing. Almost sounds like he thinks of it as a big game still and if he ever takes a beating or cutting might trip the switch to full on not half LOL. Good luck. OH an some buddies of mine had a red nose pit that would out strike most dogs and they won some bayings with her. Cull yes, good dog? Depending on how you looked at it yes. Would I or most have fed her? Probably not. They did bred her to a big YBMC and those pups all turned out to be jam up RCD/Strike dogs.
