bowhunter if you know the symptoms of parvo you know the symptoms of cocci and the corona virus . that is why you here so many people complaining about getting bad shots from the feed store , when in actuality the shots were fine and they have a totally different problem . even when you call the vet and describe what is going on they will tell you it's parvo . unless they actually do a culture test they are just assuming as well . if I have given the pups a 5, 7 , or 8 way shot and the pups start going down hill with runny stoles and getting sickly I will dismiss parvo and start treating for coccidiosis . but like I said cocci is everywhere you have wild birds and chickens . it is easy to treat and easier to prevent , a tablespoon of sulmet to a gallon of water as soon as the pups start taking water and you won't have to deal with it .
