Maybe I just hit it at the right time then. Idk I also had to enter my collar id into garmins website. They said it was eligible for repair then sent me an email with a prepaid postage stamp. Slapped it n a box with the printed out label and had a refurbed one back at my house within a week. They didnt even ask one question. I was expecting to have to pay the 89bucks like u said because warranty had been over on it. Go figure bout time luck was on my side. Lol
