Mrs. Krystale, I have run the performance accessories brand 3" body lift kits on 3 previous trucks with zero issues. As long as they are installed correctly they will last and do exactly what you are looking for. Like others have said the only thing a body lift will do for you is lift the body off the frame allowing for bigger tires, if you are looking for more offroad capability I would suggest a 3" suspension lift but otherwise the body lift will do you just fine. Some people hate em and some people love em I personally like em just fine, we have installed quite a few over the years on my trucks as well as buddies trucks (can't tell you how many we installed on 90's models z71's back when I was in highschool lol). If you have the time and a couple buddies that can follow instructions it can easily be done in a driveway in an afternoon. Good luck with it and hope you get the results you are looking for.
