I was worried about the big red not having a low range in it when I purchased one but I have to say that in the couple months i've owned my big red I have put over 700 miles on it and gone in, over and through all kinds of nonsense and while the big red won't throw big crazy rooster tails going through the mud I haven't had the first issue with it not having the power to make it to the other side, shortly after i bought it we used to to pull a 900lb + cow that managed to get stuck and buried in a deep canal.......I have to say I was sceptical on having the power to move her big ass but the buggy honestly did it with ease, I was an still am impressed with it. I was going to bite the bullet and buy a pioneer when I bought my big red but the honda dealership in beaumont at the time had a 2+ month wait for a pioneer and I didn't want to wait that long, got a hell of a deal on a big red and probly saved myself ALOTTA heart ache in the end buying the big red instead of a polaris or canam.........not sayin for a second that there is anything wrong with either but i'm the kinda guy that givin all the extra go fast and power would eventually have had to test it and that can get expensive real fast lol.

Best of luck with the pioneer and let us know what you think about it after you put it thru the paces, hell you can't go wrong with it......its a honda!
